Posted by MK7 I think you bumped...one week. Nah, bumping 1 week is not that bad. Plus bumping is not always bad. It's all about "thread dead-ness". For example: If someone posted a question and it got answered, that thread no longer needs to be alive. Bumping that thread is bad. Another thing is threads that are about some project/hack/tool/whatever, or threads that don't necessarily need to die. For example it wouldn't be so bad if someone posted on an old hack thread to say something on-topic about it. |

Hey, I'm making a NSMB hack and I wanted a Luigi clone to follow Mario in my levels. Is there any sort of coding which would allow Luigi to follow Mario's exact path from the beginning of the level, but a second after him or something?
My sister (who's getting this hack for her birthday) said she'd love that but I'm not sure how the coding would work. If it's not possible, please let me know |

No. Not with LOOOOOTS more code.
Also if you played as Luigi you would have a clone of yourself. And a good hack should take over a year instead of a few weeks witch is what it sounds like your doing. |

Doesn't actually do anything.

There is no specific length of time it takes to make a "good hack". Also he's making the hack for someone's birthday as a gift, so (1) There is a set deadline, and (2) It doesn't have to be a full hack, or even a full world. /offtopic ♪♫♩♬ |

Actually, I've got six months and she's never specified how much she wants,
so TRS is pretty much correct. Thanks for letting me know, I suppose it doesn't matter too much. If I manage to do it using some coding, I'll let you know! |

A hack as a birthday gift? Never thought of this! What a great idea. |

The image shows directories adressing a file in the NSMB ROM. I don't believe it can be opened since it is in a program just to view the files. Also, I know I'm not a moderator to say this, but you posted on a thread that was one year old of inactivity… which is bad. |
