As for what I've read, this exploit allows attackers to read whatever chunk of memory that they want to, so unless your password was in memeory for some reason, it can't have been stolen. Stored passwords are stored in a way that makes it very hard to actually get the original password.

Also keep in mind that some attacker must also actually have tried to target whatever site the password would have been stolen from.

(I might be slightly mistaken about this, but this is how I understood it from what I've read.)


Maybe this would be a good idea. It very much depends on which sites this have been used against (if any) and if the person doing the attack actually managed to steal passwords.

You are somewhat late. I informed  Dirbaio about this issue yesterday, and he installed the updates. Then again, if you use the same password on every website, stop doing this. With or without exploit, it's unsafe.
